Maintenance Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing

Job Type: Full time

Salary: £35,000

Our client is a leading provider of electronic design and assembly services, working with customers at the forefront of new product development in areas such as scientific research, fire detection, X-ray scanning, and medical robotics. We support our customers from initial design, prototyping, and certification through to volume manufacture, maintenance & repair.

Based within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a wide variety of high-tech assembly equipment, including surface mount and associated assembly machinery, re-flow ovens, solder paste printers, and automatic optical inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance of high-tech assembly equipment, including Juki and Euro-placer placement machines.
  2. Keeping clear and comprehensive maintenance records for traceability purposes.
  3. Maintenance and supervision of specialist contractors for building services, including heating, electrical, water, compressed air, and nitrogen.

The successful applicant will ideally have 3+ years' experience in the maintenance of sophisticated manufacturing equipment, along with a good understanding of maintenance principles and processes.

Shift Pattern:

4 Day Working Week

Benefits:

This position offers 25 days holiday plus an additional 1 day for each complete year's service to a maximum of 30 days, plus paid bank holidays, pension scheme, free parking, company pension scheme - employer 5% contributions and employee 4% contributions.
