Maintenance Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing

Job Type: Full time

The Electronics Group Ltd is a leading provider of electronic design and assembly services. We work with our customers at the leading edge of new product development in areas such as scientific research, fire detection, X-ray scanning, and medical robotics. Our services include initial design, prototyping, and certification through to volume manufacture, maintenance & repair.

Based within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a wide variety of high-tech assembly equipment along with general infrastructure maintenance. This includes maintenance of surface mount and associated assembly machinery, such as Juki and Euro-placer placement machines, re-flow ovens, solder paste printers, and automatic optical inspection.

The successful applicant will be responsible for generating clear and comprehensive maintenance records for traceability purposes. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintenance and supervision of specialist contractors for building services including heating, electrical, water, compressed air, and nitrogen.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in the maintenance of sophisticated manufacturing equipment
  • Good understanding of maintenance principles and processes
