The Payroll Officer will be a key member of the Accounting & Finance team at Michael Page Finance, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payroll operations. This role requires a strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare reports for the Accounting & Finance Department, providing insights into payroll operations.
- Collaborate with the HR Department on employee issues, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding payroll information.
- Assist with year-end processes, such as tax returns, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a payroll position, with a strong understanding of payroll software and MS Office.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
