About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments to identify individuals' needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Provide education and health promotion services, including Hepatitis B vaccinations and harm reduction advice.
  • Develop strong therapeutic relationships with service users, promoting trust and empowerment.
  • Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines and protocols, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
  • Record and input client data accurately, ensuring compliance with administrative and financial requirements.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A current PIN and relevant post-qualification experience as a registered nurse.
  • Recent experience working within drug and alcohol treatment, although not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
  • Ability to assess and recovery plan service users, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clinical auditing skills to inform service evaluation and identify areas for development.
