About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Vistry Group, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and minimize project costs to enhance margin and value for money
  • Procure and manage subcontractors, including administration of contracts, monthly payments, and final account settlements
  • Collaborate with project leads to ensure accurate cost reporting and budget control
  • Attend site project meetings and provide cost-related insights
  • Prepare and issue monthly cost valuations, cash flow forecasts, and key date trackers
Requirements
  • HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably with a residential housing developer
  • Excellent IT, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong mathematical ability and ability to assess and analyze information
  • Good understanding of budget management and COINs user experience
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a busy team
  • Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS is preferable
