About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Training Planning Coordinator to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our Training Planning Cell, you will play a critical role in the allocation of resources and production of training timetables to meet the requirements of all courses under the scope of Project Selborne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating and scheduling course templates
  • Update course templates as a result of changes administered through contracted change mechanisms
  • Publish course dates onto the internal database
  • Allocate resources and venues required by scheduled training course templates
  • Provide administrative support for visits, guest lecturers, external venues, and courses within courses during the timetabling and planning process
  • Collaborate with other training support departments and Training Groups
Requirements
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Office 365 applications
  • Adaptable to in-house databases
  • Previous coordination experience
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Good interpersonal skills with an organized approach

Project Selborne is a wide-scale, 12-year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernize training for the RN.
