Job Title: Academic Progress Coach

Carmel College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic Progress Coach to join our team. As an Academic Progress Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic progress of our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas of concern and implementing targeted interventions to support students at risk of under-achievement.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Provide guidance and support to students on academic and personal matters, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning resources, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of college policies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and meet the needs of our students.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of supporting student progress and achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
