About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our hygiene team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our factory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and production areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Report on stock levels to aid the Hygiene Team Leader in maintaining a fully stocked inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standard and schedule.
  • Use cleaning products at the correct dilution to ensure safe and efficient use.
  • Exercise discretion at all times when working in areas containing confidential information.
  • Work safely and conform to all health and safety procedures.
  • Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate regularly with the Hygiene Team Leader as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hygiene-based role is essential.
  • Health & Safety Level 2 certification.
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • COSHH Awareness training.
  • Ability to learn and train in different areas of the site.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Good eye for detail to achieve inspection and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently for periods of time.
