Job Summary

The Wilf Ward Family Trust is seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our team at our registered complex care services in Pickering. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering specialized care services to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring that all needs are met with the highest level of quality and compassion.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a kind and caring individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing Personal Care: Assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for individuals with complex dietary needs.
  • Medication Management: Monitoring, recording, and administering medication as required.
  • Assistance with Mobility: Assisting individuals with mobility issues, such as walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
  • Accompaniment and Activities: Accompanying individuals to various activities, such as bowling, swimming, horse-riding, and sensory rooms.
