We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Resilience Lead to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our Information Security Team, you will play a critical role in promoting a strong cyber incident management and resilience culture across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Cyber Remediate Tracker: Provide centralized oversight and coordination of identified improvements from post-incidents, exercises, and testing.
- Lead Effective Planning of Cyber Incident Exercises/Testing: Engage with wider incident management and security teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure effective planning and execution of cyber incident exercises and testing.
- Maintain Oversight of Cyber Incident Management and Resilience Actions: Ensure that all necessary actions are taken to maintain a strong cyber incident management and resilience culture across the organization.
- Engage with External Governing Bodies and Water Sector Organizations: Collaborate with external governing bodies and water sector organizations to encourage cross-sector incident response improvements.
- Design and Develop a Maturity Model: Develop a maturity model to demonstrate the effectiveness of cyber incident management testing and exercising.
- Ability to Communicate Complex Technical Requirements: Adapt complex technical requirements or solutions to communicate effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent Stakeholder Communications/Engagement Skills: Articulate confidential, sensitive, or important issues and solutions in a nuanced and balanced way.
- Experience in Translating Incident Management Risks: Translate incident management risks, challenges, and solutions into quantifiable data and benchmarking.
- Ability to Apply Original and Innovative Thinking: Produce new ideas and solutions to complex problems.
- Experience Leading Cyber Incident Response Efforts: Lead cyber incident response efforts within organizations that rely on both information and operational technology.
- Experience Developing and Maintaining Incident Management Plans: Develop and maintain incident management plans, procedures, and policies.
- Knowledge and Experience in Cyber Resilience or Incident Management: Possess knowledge and experience in cyber resilience or incident management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a Related Field: Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, cyber security, or a related field.
- Strong Knowledge of Cyber Security Frameworks: Possess strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
