We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Strategic Operations Manager to join our team at the Scottish Ambulance Service. As a key member of our National Risk and Resilience Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Strategic Operations Manager in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our resources and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical and logistical support to the Strategic Operations Manager in monitoring service performance and identifying potential issues.
  • Assist in the proactive monitoring of service performance, utilizing analytical skills to identify potential issues and inform key actions.
  • Provide logistical support to the Strategic Operations Manager, including organizing and supporting key meetings, gathering and disseminating information, and dealing with enquiries.
  • Collaborate with other teams across the Service and beyond to deliver patient-focused performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an analytical and/or senior administrative role, preferably within a clinical/operational setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with others to deliver patient-focused performance.
