About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join our team in Jersey, Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM). As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for providing professional mortgage advice to customers, identifying their needs, and recommending suitable mortgage products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide agile and flexible service to customers to meet their needs within their channel of choice
  • Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs
  • Recognising the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and making referrals to other areas of the bank
  • Proactively developing and strengthening customer relationships and, in doing so, generating new business responsibly
  • Apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly to everything you do
Requirements
  • As an Adviser, you must already hold CeMAP qualification or equivalent
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers
  • Seeking out and building on effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
  • Delivery of satisfactory compliance and quality measures
  • Have experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
