As a seasoned professional in the mortgage and lending industry, you'll be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to customers, helping them navigate the complexities of mortgage products and protection. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions that meet their individual requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing agile and flexible service to customers to meet their needs within their channel of choice
  • Listening to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs, helping them to achieve a mortgage package that is fully tailored to their individual needs
  • Recognising the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and making referrals to other areas of the bank, where their wider needs can be met
  • Proactively developing and strengthening customer relationships and, in doing so, generating new business responsibly
  • Applying the principles of Treating Customers Fairly to everything you do
  • Developing and building effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
  • Proactively driving mortgage performance and tracking MI to ensure that all personal and team sales performances exceed plan

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • As an Adviser, you must already hold CeMAP qualification or equivalent
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers
  • Seeking out and building on effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
  • Delivery of satisfactory compliance and quality measures
  • Have experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
  • Track record in the Mortgage and Lending environment
