We are seeking a Wellbeing Support Officer to join our Education Programme team. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to children and young people in a variety of localities throughout Kent.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized, relevant, and wellbeing-focused activities with pupils within an agreed individualized programme.
- Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, enabling them to understand and regulate their behaviours and emotions.
- Build resilience and self-confidence in children, and provide them with a toolkit of strategies to better equip them to access the curriculum.
- Communicate clearly and successfully both verbally and in written records and reports.
- Manage challenging situations and maintain a positive attitude and fresh beginning each day.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage challenging situations.
- Ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner.
- Full UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).
- Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
