Job Title: Deputy Head of Contract Management

MediTalent is recruiting on behalf of a modern hospital in Jersey for an enthusiastic senior physiotherapy professional who has experience managing a team of physiotherapists within a clinical setting.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team as Deputy Head of Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-standard physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients in the outpatient department and/or ward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Assist the Head of Physiotherapy in shaping and guiding the physiotherapy service.
  • Support the Head of Physiotherapy in leading, planning, developing, and assessing the PT service.
  • Promote change and implement solutions to ensure high standards of patient-focused service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • HCPC-registered, chartered physiotherapist.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Ability to work autonomously while being an effective team player.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Ideally, 5 years of post-qualification physiotherapy experience.
  • Extensive experience in supervision and line management of qualified and unqualified staff.
