Tax Director

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our Trust tax team at Francis Clark LLP. As a Tax Director, you will play a key role in providing a first-class tax compliance and advisory service to our personal tax clients, including trusts and high net worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Look after a portfolio of trust cases, as well as high net worth individuals, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
- Compliance Services: Prepare self-assessment tax returns, computations, and associated forms, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Client Relationships: Maintain direct contact with clients, HMRC, solicitors, and other professional services firms, building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
- Professional Development: Review the work of more junior staff, contributing to their professional learning and development, and staying up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
- Tax Planning: Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for our clients, including the use of trusts in estate planning.
- Business Development: Actively seek opportunities to promote other departments within the firm, and in particular, the services of our financial planning colleagues.
Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of compliance standards imposed by regulatory authorities for tax.
- Organizational Skills: Be organized and able to plan time efficiently to meet deadlines, particularly during the January tax return season.
- Desirable Skills: The ability to prepare trust accounts is desirable.
