About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Tax Director to join our team at Francis Clark LLP. As a senior leader, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with our corporate clients, reporting to and assisting our Tax Partners, and managing the Complex Corporate Tax team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, providing a mix of compliance and advisory services.
  • Report to and assist our Tax Partners, ensuring a comprehensive tax service to clients.
  • Manage the Complex Corporate Tax team, providing technical and mentoring support to junior team members.
  • Manage and review complex corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Be the point of contact for HMRC, including the CCM, and support clients with handling HMRC investigations.
  • Remain technically up to date with all relevant tax matters, accurately interpreting and applying current tax legislation.
  • Manage work-in-progress on all assignments, ensuring regular and timely billing, and assisting with the prompt collection of debtors.
  • Be involved in internal and external presentations, assisting in developing tax technical materials and carrying out training on specific corporate tax technical areas.

We are looking for a highly experienced tax professional with a focus on large corporate tax compliance. You will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality tax services, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
