- Maximise Warehouse Capacity: Ensure our warehouse is always optimally filled to meet demands.
- Cost-Efficient Management: Oversee inventory control functions, focusing on availability, service levels, security, and process improvements.
- Predict and React: Utilize our Warehouse Management System to forecast inventory patterns and demands, enabling our operational teams to stay ahead.
- Team Development: Manage, develop, and motivate a team of inventory management specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Influence and Deliver: Use your influencing skills to support and achieve inventory management KPI targets in collaboration with the management team.
- Optimise Pick Rates: Review inventory lines and optimize SKU locations to ensure the most efficient pick routes for warehouse operatives.
- JDA Systems Super User: Familiarity with JDA systems and Kronos is a plus.
- Stock Ordering/Management Systems: Basic understanding of stock ordering and management systems to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Team Management Experience: Some experience in managing a small team.
- Warehouse Experience: Experience in a stock or systems role within a high-volume warehouse environment is preferred.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) Experience: Basic familiarity with WMS is advantageous.
- WMS Setup Participation: Previous involvement in setting up a WMS at a distribution centre is beneficial.
- Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies and contribute to positive changes within a distribution centre.
