At LWC Drinks Careers, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver to deliver products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and upkeep of their designated vehicle and provide excellent customer service standards to every customer.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Prepare the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance, ensuring all products for a delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.
  2. Complete delivery notes, return sheets, and collect payments.
  3. Execute any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.
  4. Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information.
  5. Check the run sheets, picked orders for deliveries, and routing.
  6. Plan your route and requirements for the drop by studying the schedule and any requests by the customer that are on the delivery note.
  7. Make customers aware of any stock shortages or problems with their delivery.
  8. Return all empty cases and gas bottles and ensure they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.
  9. Ensure correct health and safety procedures are adhered to.
  10. Complete all required checks and ensure that check sheets are completed.
