Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Critical Care/ICU Nurse to join our team at Bank Partners. As a Critical Care/ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IV lines, administering blood transfusions, and performing chest compressions.
- Document patient's progress and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- NMC Registration
- At least 6 months NHS ITU experience in the last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
