Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to join our managed services team at Reed. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and leading technical projects.
About the Role
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, resolving technical issues and improving system performance.
- Lead technical projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring successful outcomes and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and implement security protocols and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize system efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve our services and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in IT support and technical project management.
- Excellent technical skills, with expertise in areas such as Office 365, Windows servers, active directory, and VMware.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
