Digital Forensics Consultant

As a Digital Forensics Consultant at FTI Consulting, you will be part of a team of specialists dedicated to solving complex challenges for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and acquire digital evidence to forensic standards, both on-site at client premises and remotely. You will utilize industry-standard software to access, extract, and handle data from mobile devices, computers, servers, and cloud data sources.
Key Responsibilities- Forensic analysis and reporting for a wide range of digital devices under the supervision of senior staff
- Liaising with clients and senior staff to manage work and ensure timely delivery
- Researching and developing custom solutions as required on a case-by-case basis
- Providing exceptional service to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary
- Traveling as required, which may be at short notice
As a Digital Forensics Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of clients, technologies, and business challenges. You will develop custom solutions, manage sections of projects, and build internal and external relationships. RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum 2:1 degree in forensic computing or a technology, criminal, or legal-focused subject. You will also need to demonstrate enthusiasm for technology, an ability to solve complex problems, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with forensic principles and technologies, as well as experience working in a digital forensics or related role, is highly desirable.
