Residential Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day care for children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to create a safe and supportive environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized home, including cooking and cleaning tasks.
  • Safeguard the welfare of residents at all times, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Support residents in activities, education, or statutory meetings, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people who have challenging behaviors, with a strong focus on de-escalation techniques.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to write records and reports.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, sleep-ins, and adhere to a rota, with a full UK manual driving license.
  • Ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
