Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical Design

Alexander James Recruiting Ltd. is working with a leading supplier of Warehouse Automation and Software products to find a Senior Project Engineer with a mechanical bias to work on projects nationally.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineer with experience working in a comparable role within a closely affiliated industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of project engineering for the integration of Warehouse Automation projects
  • Create detailed designs to meet customer specifications using AutoCAD software
  • Carry out related calculations and risk assessments to ensure designs align with technical and safety requirement standards
  • Work closely with sales, projects, and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing relevant documentation when required
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical design background working within Warehouse Automation, but the company is also open to candidates with mechanical design experience working within capital equipment or other types of automation with strong AutoCAD skills.

A full UK driver's license is required as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
