We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at BakerHicks. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design work on a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake all aspects of infrastructure design work, including earthworks design, below ground foul and surface water drainage design, pavement design, and external works.
- Manage and deliver design packages to cost, schedule, and quality criteria.
- Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior staff.
- Relevant degree and Chartered CIHT, ICE, IHE, or working towards chartership.
- Extensive experience of Autodesk Civil 3D, Microdrainage, and AutoCAD.
- Thorough understanding of earthworks design, below ground foul and surface water drainage design, pavement design, external works, and 3D underground services coordination.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and take initiative.
- Keen to mentor graduate and junior engineers/technicians in technical design aspects and BIM software integration.
- Full UK driver's license.
