Exciting Opportunity for Mechanical Design Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with a leading defence company that operates in various international markets, providing unrivalled engineering support to naval, land, air, and nuclear operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce high-quality mechanical design deliverables across all design stages
  2. Collaborate with the Design Manager to ensure timely and efficient delivery of design projects
  3. Design and develop mechanical systems for water and water treatment plants
  4. Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and all relevant health and safety legislation
  5. Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, detailed design, and tender pricing for mechanical design projects
  6. Monitor design delivery performance and efficiency
  7. Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil & Structural Designers to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in Building Services, with a strong background in HVAC (preferably in nuclear applications)
  2. Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable
  3. Security clearance or ability to obtain
  4. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of success
  5. Excellent communication skills and a full driving licence
