Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Educator to join our team at TimePlan Education. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for teaching Music to key stages 3 and 4, planning engaging lessons, and working collaboratively with the Music department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Music to key stage 3 and 4 students
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, including schemes of work and assessments
  • Mark student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Music department, including offering a second subject if possible
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions
  • Engage in extra-curricular activities, such as music performances and events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Secondary School Teacher with a passion for Music education
  • Excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
