About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing environmental health policies and procedures within a local authority setting. This will include dealing with various types of pollution, such as noise and statutory nuisances, general planning applications, and air quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental health policies and procedures
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to identify and address environmental health issues
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on environmental health matters
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of environmental health policies
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements:
