Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Gastroenterologist to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our gastroenterology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical leadership and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the gastrointestinal bleeding on-call rota and provide clinical leadership in the provision of gastroenterology and general internal medicine services.
  • Promote high standards of clinical care for patients through direct patient care and continuing professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of our gastroenterology services, including inpatient and outpatient care, and ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and improve patient experience.
