Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Functional Life Skills Tutor to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a Bank/Casual Functional Life Skills Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality sessions to our students, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life and in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective sessions that challenge and support our students in their Functional Skills development.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, using strategies to help them improve their performance.
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Practitioners to ensure a professional and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with City and Guilds assessments and use the principles of RARPA to track student progress.
  • Ensure the highest standards of student and staff welfare, health, and safety by adhering to risk assessments.
