Support a Client with a Spinal Cord Injury

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a client with a spinal cord injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the client, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with domestic tasks and social activities to promote the client's independence and well-being.
  • Support the client with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's healthcare team to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature.
  • Flexibility and reliability to ensure continuity of care.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with the client and their family.
  • A full UK driving licence to support the client's independence.
  • Ability to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
