Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering drugs, undertaking patient care, and assisting with stock control. A strong understanding of NMC guidelines and experience in ophthalmology are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Administer drugs in accordance with NMC guidelines
  • Undertake patient care, including diagnostic tests and post-operative care
  • Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained
  • Ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act
  • Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff
  • Admit and discharge patients on a theatre day
Requirements
  • NMC Pin with no restrictions or conditions
  • At least 6 months experience post-registration in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Previous experience in ophthalmology is desirable
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of £19.80
  • Standard working hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm
