About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Assist chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
Requirements
- A passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
