Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team at MDE Group UK. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for providing planned preventative and predictive maintenance services to our factory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Attend to emergency/unscheduled repairs of factory equipment during unplanned shutdowns.
  • Capable of repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic devices.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the factory.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to electrical failure, report conditions, and recommend steps to be taken.
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts, checking motors, according to instructions.
  • Install cables, conduit, for new equipment or replacing old ones.
Requirements
  • A sound knowledge of electrical preventative engineering principles with a comprehensive understanding of condition-based plant monitoring systems.
  • A formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, such as NVQ Level 3 / C&G Level 3 Electrical, HNC, or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of industrial plant and process equipment is essential.
