Job Description

**Job Title:** Resident Manager

**Location:** Maidenhead

**Salary:** £30k-£32K

**Hours:** 40 hours per week, Tuesdays to Saturdays 9am to 6pm, Sunday and Mondays off

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Manager to join our team at Deverell Smith. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional living experience for our residents.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:**

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all current and prospective residents, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Ensure a seamless experience from initial inquiry through move-in and during residency, exceeding resident expectations.
  • Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to elevate standards and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Monitor and achieve set targets for occupancy, revenue, and Net Promoter Scores.
  • Manage resident contracting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legislation.
  • Oversee applicant checks, screening, and commercial risk management.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards and report maintenance issues.
  • Manage the move-out process, including deposit release and ensuring a smooth transition for departing residents.
  • Participate in events and activities to enhance resident experiences and foster a sense of community.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

  • Prior experience in letting or property management, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent customer service background, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry-related systems, such as Yardi or RentCafe.
