About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at BMS Performance. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent pet retailers, country stores, pet wholesalers, and farm shops in the North East and Yorkshire region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-performing territory with a mature customer base and opportunities to develop new key accounts
  • Build strong relationships with pet shop owners, independent retailers, and farm shop managers to cross-sell specialist, market-leading brands
  • Work to weekly KPIs of 4-5 visits a day and monthly targets to grow sales and open new retail accounts
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in FMCG field sales, preferably in the pet industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results-driven sales performance
