Nxt Step Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Import Coordinator to manage LCL and FCL sea freight operations and provide exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include coordinating import shipments, ensuring customs compliance, and liaising with customers to deliver top-notch service throughout the import process. The ideal candidate will have significant import experience, expertise in customs clearance procedures, and strong customer service skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a 1-hour lunch break. Starting salary is £25-£30k, dependent on experience. * Coordinating import shipments to ensure timely delivery

* Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures

* Liaising with customers to provide excellent service throughout the import process

* Managing LCL and FCL sea freight operations

* Providing expert advice on customs clearance procedures

* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless import operations

* Analyzing and resolving import-related issues

* Maintaining accurate records of import shipments and customs clearance

* Staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures

* Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance import operations

* Providing training and support to colleagues on import procedures and customs clearance

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

* Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with import operations

* Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance import operations

* Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives

* Providing input on import-related projects and initiatives

* Staying informed about industry trends and developments

* Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

* Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion

* Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding data protection and confidentiality

* Maintaining accurate records of import shipments and customs clearance
