Position: HGV Technician

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians to join a leading Fleet Operator in the UK. We are looking for professionals with a background in Commercial, HGV, PSV, or LGV mechanics.

We offer a range of shifts to accommodate your schedule. If you hold a Level 3 qualification and have a solid track record as a Mechanic, we would like to hear from you.

In addition to a competitive salary, our client provides a comprehensive benefits package, including life insurance, enhanced pension contributions, annual pay increases, and 33 days of holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair, and installation.
  • Set up and operate machine tools and equipment.
  • Assist workshop team members, including Apprentice Technicians, as needed.
  • Accurately document time spent on jobs and related details.
  • Utilize skills and perform additional tasks as required by the Workshop Supervisor to enhance workshop efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a qualified Fitter/Mechanic/Engineer.
  • Possession of personal tools.
