Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate to join our team as a Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant in a Hounslow-based school.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate from one of the UK's Top 30 Universities to gain valuable experience working in a school setting. As a Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for running small group sessions throughout the day for children in both KS1 and Lower KS2.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver interventions based on phonics and maths
  • Run small group sessions for children in KS1 and Lower KS2
  • Opportunity to be trained in more specific interventions, such as Speech and Language
Requirements
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree from one of the UK's Top 30 Universities
  • Experience of working with children (desired but not essential)
  • Aspirations to become a fully qualified Primary School Teacher
What We Offer
  • Long-term contract starting immediately until the end of the academic year, with potential for further employment
  • £85-95 per day (inclusive of Holiday Pay) | PAYE
  • Supportive school environment with opportunities for progression
