Starting Salary: £25,480 (inclusive of 1 sleep-in per week). We are seeking a Full-Time Support Worker for our Supported Living Scheme. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team providing 24-hour assistance to adults facing intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges across multiple services.

Our Supported Living team is committed to empowering our residents to engage in their daily activities, enabling them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Upholding the rights of our residents and facilitating their self-expression
  • Addressing their emotional and communication needs
  • Assisting with daily living skills, including budgeting, shopping, laundry, cooking, and cleaning
  • Encouraging community engagement through appointments and social events
  • Fostering a joyful environment through fun and laughter

Whether you're helping a resident with grocery shopping or meal preparation, this role offers the chance to enhance your skills in attention to detail and interpersonal communication.

  • Care Certificate (not mandatory)
  • Experience in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviors (preferred)

We are looking for individuals with positive attitudes, flexibility, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Support Worker Shifts

This position is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week with a mix of early and late shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays. Sleep-in shifts are also part of the role, compensated at a rate of £67.50 per night.
