About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Deputy Manager to join our support team at Aspris Children's Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also being responsible for a small staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and care for our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programs for our young people.
- Manage shift patterns on a rota basis, ensuring seamless coverage and high-quality care.
- Line manage a small staff team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and external partners to ensure their needs are met and information is shared.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Able to demonstrate resilience, empathy, and a caring approach when working with our young people.
- Willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People.
