Deputy Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Deputy Home Manager at our children's home in Ibstock. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our young people.

About the Role

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and caring for our young people, as well as overseeing the effective implementation of care and independence programs. You will work closely with our staff team to ensure that our young people receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and care for our young people, including developing and implementing individual care plans
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programs
  • Manage shift patterns and supervise staff
  • Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
  • Experience working with children and young people with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral difficulties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage shift patterns
  • Resilience and ability to manage challenging situations
