As an Operations Control Specialist / Customer Service Representative, you will engage in shift-based work within a dynamic environment.
Employment Type:
Full-Time Permanent Role
42 hours per week on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule - 12-hour shifts.
Compensation:
Salary of £29,200 along with excellent company benefits. An additional bonus of £3,000 is awarded after two years of continuous service.
About the Role:
We are pleased to collaborate with our esteemed client to recruit an additional Customer Service Representative due to company expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming assistance requests through various channels including electronic data transfer, fax, and telephone.
- Accurately document all customer details in the computer database.
- Maintain communication with all personnel via radio, telephone, fax, and mobile data.
- Monitor the progress of all tasks and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Update job records in the system as operatives arrive and complete their assignments.
- Provide customers with estimates for roadside and workshop services.
- Process payments for services rendered through cash, cheque, and credit card.
- Manage invoicing for company services to relevant organizations.
- Ensure both electronic and paper records are updated as necessary.
Required Competencies:
We seek a motivated and enthusiastic professional with the following attributes:
- Exceptional organizational skills and memory, as you will oversee multiple incidents simultaneously, impacting service quality and company profitability.
- Strong teamwork abilities, as collaboration within the control room is essential, along with effective communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, including a professional telephone demeanor and the ability to reassure clients.
Shift Details:
- Four days on, four days off
- 12-hour shifts available
Salary Package:
- Based on a 42-hour work week
- Opportunities for overtime are available if desired. Standard hourly rate for nights and weekends is £19.00 per hour.
