Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day commercial activities of allocated projects, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
  2. Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure a thorough understanding of commercial matters and support successful project delivery.
  3. Develop project cost plans and collaborate with the design team and operational colleagues throughout the pre-construction process.
  4. Procure subcontract work packages, prepare detailed tender reports, and assist with subcontractor appointments.
  5. Formulate monthly valuations, commercial reporting, and identify and value variations, ensuring control of expenditure.
  6. Ensure adherence to sub-contracts and assist with sub-contractor payments.

Requirements:

  1. Hold an honours degree in Quantity Surveying.
  2. Have at least 5 years of construction experience in a Contracting Quantity Surveying role.
  3. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
