Position Overview:

Rubicon Consulting is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a permanent role. This position is integral to our Quality Function and will focus on the planning, execution, monitoring, and enhancement of Project and Operational Quality Management and Control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operational Quality Management and Control for assigned projects and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Project Quality Manager or Lead Operational Quality Engineer to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at achieving a class-leading QA and QC capability within the organization.
  • Implement productivity improvements within your team, emphasizing efficient delivery, high-quality standards, and a robust EHS culture.

Project Quality Engineer Duties:

  • Manage tendering processes and project kick-offs.
  • Review client specifications and develop Project Quality Plans.
  • Ensure the flow down of client quality requirements to relevant functions and suppliers.
  • Produce and approve contract-specific procedures.
  • Support project and client meetings, and manage project reporting.
  • Handle client non-conformance management and support internal audits.
  • Conduct supplier kick-off meetings and oversee operational non-conformance reports.
  • Engage in supplier surveillance and manage supply chain quality oversight activities.
  • Compile, approve, and release customer lifetime records.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects.

Operational Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct goods inwards inspections, including document reviews and physical inspections.
  • Manage supplier non-conformance reports and ensure traceability control.
  • Perform patrol inspections throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with process, route card, and MITP requirements.
  • Facilitate client inspector liaison for goods received notes and route card operations.
  • Support operational non-conformance report processes and expedite resolutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and dismantling inspections.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of procedures and processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
