Job Title: Process Control Engineer

Job Summary:

E3 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Engineer to join our team. As a Process Control Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the process automation of a particular asset on site. This includes the upkeep and enhancement of process automation methodologies, encompassing safety instrumented systems (SIS), distributed control system (DCS) hardware strategies, procedures, standards, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, Implementing, and Maintaining Regulatory Controls: Ensure robust and stable control of plant operations by designing, implementing, and maintaining regulatory controls.
  • Employing Advanced Control Design: Implement and maintain traditional and advanced control design to enhance plant profitability and optimize asset utilization.
  • Enhancing Plant Operations: Continuously enhance plant operations by managing alarms and utilizing associated applications.
  • Control Modelling and Data Analysis: Utilize control modelling and data analysis to complement strategies and extract valuable insights from extensive data volumes.
  • Software Installation and Maintenance: Perform software installation and maintenance to guarantee the up-to-date and reliable operation of control applications.
  • SIS Systems Support: Provide specialized engineering assistance for SIS systems throughout their life cycle, including design, development, modification, commissioning, and adherence to industry and company standards.
  • Opportunity Identification and Execution: Identify, assess, and execute opportunities to enhance safety, reliability, and operability performance.
  • SIL Reviews and MAF Development: Support SIL reviews and MAF development for the manufacturing team.
  • SIS Logic Solver Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of the site's SIS logic solvers to the required standard.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in DCS/SIS Engineering: Significant expertise in DCS/SIS engineering, particularly with Honeywell TPS/Experion system and FSC/SM safety systems.
  • Refinery/Chemical Manufacturing Experience: Acquired through working on a refinery/chemical manufacturing site.
