Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Reed. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance to contribute to a dynamic team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial documents, including invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  • Complete purchase orders and manage payroll
  • Perform bank reconciliations and enter financial information into software programs
  • Manage company ledgers and process business expenses
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and verify balances in account books
  • Verify bank deposits and manage day-to-day transactions
  • Report on debtors and creditors and handle accruals and prepayments
  • Manage monthly budgeting tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar financial operations role
  • Strong understanding of finance regulations and accounting processes
  • High level of organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets
  • Knowledge of financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Data entry skills with attention to detail and analytical skills
