Reed is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join their General Practice department in Suffolk. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients from a wide range of commercial organizations, providing a holistic service from audit to tax.
The role will involve:
- Providing accounting services, including corporate and personal tax, and occasional specific projects.
- Consolidation accounts and financial statement preparation.
- Creating VAT returns and providing detailed knowledge and advice to clients.
- Reviewing self-assessment tax returns, business and partnership tax returns, and providing projections and forecasting information to the business.
- Preparing budgets and financial models.
- Raising invoices for work completed and managing client relationships.
- Mentoring junior team members, overseeing their work, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Reviewing P11D and other payroll advice and services.
- Developing the portfolio through identifying new opportunities from existing clients and engaging with marketing activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, with some post-qualified experience undertaking similar tasks, including supporting junior team members.
