Role Responsibilities:
As the Operations Leader, you will report directly to the Site Director. Your responsibilities will encompass:
* Executing the duties of an Operations Manager while adhering to recognized legal and ethical standards, alongside specific company policies regarding Health and Safety, Environmental, Social, and Ethical responsibilities.
* Providing motivational and effective leadership, fostering a high-performance culture within the team, and promoting accountability to achieve exceptional operational standards that align with organizational objectives and customer needs.
* Proposing and assisting in the implementation of suitable CAPEX investment initiatives to enhance site profitability, ensuring all planning has a clear ROI focus that improves costs, yield, and labor productivity, consistent with the growth strategy.
* Proactively identifying potential issues and ensuring timely resolutions through strong collaborative relationships with customers.
* Cultivating a progressive and accountable team dedicated to continuous improvement.
* Ensuring the Operations team receives development to support the company’s 'journey to excellence' program.
* Identifying and minimizing waste in all forms across the site.
* Guaranteeing that product quality meets customer specifications.
* Developing and embedding systems within the operations team to reduce corrective actions from external assessments.
* Professionally managing relationships with the aim of retention and growth.
* Overseeing the operational employee structure and succession planning in line with long-term objectives.
* Collaborating with the Site Director to further develop visible KPIs to drive operational excellence, achieving efficiencies in productivity, labor, service, quality, hygiene, environmental health & safety, cost control, and waste management. Continuously implementing modern manufacturing practices and CI in our 'Journey to Excellence' program.

Required Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar operational role within the Food FMCG sector
* Management experience of teams exceeding 20 individuals across various departments
* Previous involvement in Growth Projects
* Customer service expertise: Understands and strives to exceed expectations for both internal and external customers
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills: Analyzes information effectively to find optimal solutions and reaches logical conclusions.
* Demonstrated Operational Excellence - Proven CI experience in Manufacturing
* Leadership capabilities: Communicates clear and inspiring direction to the team, aligning with the organization’s goals and values.
* Performance management: Effectively manages team performance, motivating and supporting members to achieve high standards.
* Planning and organizational skills: Capable of establishing efficient plans for oneself and others, adapting swiftly to unexpected changes while ensuring objectives are met.
