SQL Database Developer (Markit EDM)

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious SQL Database Developer to join our team at Client Server, a leading provider of innovative solutions for the financial industry. As a SQL Database Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and optimization of our Market Data platform, ensuring that our clients receive the vital information they need to trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database systems using SQL and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions
  • Optimize database performance, scalability, and security
  • Develop and implement data models, database schema, and data warehousing solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Strong experience with SQL database development, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and T-SQL
  • Proficiency in a software engineering language, such as C#
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
